Cambridge Capital Announces Appointment of Industry Veteran David Radom as Group CEO of Everest Transportation Systems and Simple Logistics

Cambridge Capital (“Cambridge”), a leading investment firm focused on the applied supply chain, is excited to announce that David Radom has been appointed Group Chief Executive Officer of its freight brokerage platform, Everest Transportation Systems and Simple Logistics (“ETS-Simple”).

West Palm Beach, FL, September 9, 2025

Cambridge Capital (“Cambridge”), a leading investment firm focused on the applied supply chain, is excited to announce that David Radom has been appointed Group Chief Executive Officer of its freight brokerage platform, Everest Transportation Systems and Simple Logistics (“ETS-Simple”).

David brings 20+ years of experience in the freight transportation and logistics industries. Most recently, David was VP, Head of Commercial at Uber Freight. Reporting to the CEO, David held full P&L ownership for a $2.5 billion revenue portfolio, 10,000 customers, and oversaw a commercial organization spanning offices across North America. His leadership was also pivotal in the successful commercial integration of Transplace, a $2.5 billion strategic acquisition, unifying teams and platforms to drive synergy and growth, which has parallels with the recent combination of Everest and Simple.

Before Uber Freight, David was the General Manager of Fastmore Logistics, which was acquired by Echo Global. Earlier in his career, he was the Head of Chicago Operations for XPO Logistics, with full P&L responsibility. He led the Chicago office cold start and managed a $100 million portfolio during a period of hyper-growth for XPO. He helped transform the branch’s profitability, boosting EBITDA and building their Chicago location into XPO’s second headquarters. For the first 8 years of his career, he was a freight broker at Trek Freight Services, which was more recently acquired by Becker Logistics.

David Radom said: “Over the past several months, I’ve gotten to know ETS-Simple and am excited by its potential. With the tech-forward organization, exciting global team structure, and strong modal capabilities with elite customers, I believe the future is bright for ETS-Simple in this next chapter.”

Benjamin Gordon, Managing Partner of Cambridge Capital, said: “David’s biggest asset is his ability to establish realistic goals across the organization with clear execution paths, while also providing training and mentorship at every level. He fosters a culture of transparency, trust, and accountability, all while keeping the customer journey at the center. After getting to know David for the better part of the last 2 years, I am excited to be formally working with him.”

Matt Smalley, Principal of Cambridge Capital, added: “Given David’s commercial and M&A integration successes, he will be working to better integrate the commercial offerings of both Everest and Simple, while also adding select sales talent to help turbocharge growth. When other brokerages are pulling back, David shares our conviction that now is the time to lean in and build for the long-term. We are excited that a leader of David’s caliber has chosen to partner with us, and we cannot wait to support him and the entire ETS-Simple team in this next chapter.”
